Rev. Frank Beard is my District Superintendent and friend. As a District Superintendent Rev. Beard cares for the pastors and churches in his District. He is a gentle, caring yet passionate Christian man. He has a passion for Jesus and compassion for people. Since he bagan as our DS in the Kokomo District he has challenged all of us, pastors and people, to grow in our faith, outreach, mission, and love for The Lord.

I know many of you have seen lots of DSs come and go in your time… I have had two. Rev. Beard proved himself to be the better as he really cares for the needs of his pastors and listens to the pastors, their families, and the people I the churches. I have only known two Bishops but I see the strengths of both in Rev. Beard. I have talked to laity from churches he has served and they loved his leadership in their church. He and his wife Melissa are loving people who serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength.

It is my prayer that the delegates to the North Central Jurisdiction will support Rev. Frank Beard as the next new Bishop in our great United Methodist Church.
